This album was cut hastily, immediately upon finishing a Northeastern tour and just hours before Josefina got on a plane from New York back to Spain where she was studying at the time. Finishing touches were completed in the following few weeks by Elijah and Ian. The songs we chose were the ones we were most comfortable with, or those that our friends and fans liked the most at our shows. This album is mostly covers. The last song, "Searchlights," features gorgeous Portuguese lyrics by Josefina. The rest of the song was written by Elijah some years before, and was just waiting for Josefina to come along to fit the song perfectly.
